The motto is “We have history in Matelica” because Lamelia was founded in 2014 from the experience gained from the PROVIMA wine cellar (Matelica Wine Producers) in the cultivation and vinification of the Verdicchio grape variety in the Matelica region, and has been active since 1932. It was founded thanks to a collaboration between wise agronomists and oenologists, which allowed the company to identify the finest vineyards from a number of wine growers capable of producing extremely rich and complex wines, characterised by an elegant and modern style.

Characteristics of Lamelia’s wines and production style
The Verdicchio grape variety is capable of producing wines characterised by a genuinely delicate and elegant aroma with tones of white flowers (linden, acacia), fruit (peach, melon) and aromatic herbs. These wines have a superb texture and amplitude, while they also have a fragrant acidity and minerality thanks to the specific terrain in Matelica. The wines are characterized by exceptional drinkability, making them the perfect pairing for any dish, whether from Mediterranean or international cuisine.
The winery manages the entire winemaking process, from grape delivery to bottling, ensuring quality control throughout the entire production process.
